Common fixes

"Screen Time has not allowed Curfew to set limits"

The kid's iPhone needs to be signed in with a child account in your Family Sharing group, and a parent has to approve Curfew once when asked. Open Curfew on the kid's phone, go through setup again, and approve with your Apple Account when iOS asks.

A change from my phone did not reach the kid's phone

Open Curfew on the kid's phone once. It pulls the latest schedule on launch and whenever it is reopened. If that fixes it, the push notification was late, which happens when a phone has been offline. If it keeps happening, tell us.

The kid's phone is not linked any more

In the parent app, open the child and tap Link phone for a fresh code. Enter it on the kid's phone under Parent settings, then Link to a parent's phone.

I forgot the parent PIN

The PIN protects parent mode on the kid's phone. If you also use the parent app, change the PIN from there under the child's settings. If not, email us from the address you used to set Curfew up and we will walk you through a reset.

Subscriptions

Premium is billed by Apple. Change plans or cancel in Settings on your iPhone, under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com. If Curfew itself let you down, tell us as well.

Deleting your account

In the parent app, tap your account picture at the top left and choose Delete account. The app says what goes with it: if you are the only member of the family, the kids, their schedules and their usage history are deleted too; if other members remain, the family stays with them. It happens right away. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that in Settings as well.

If you no longer have the app, email support@curfewfamily.com from the address you signed in with and we delete your account within 30 days. Deleting the Curfew app from the kid's phone removes the schedule from that phone right away.

Security

If you believe you have found a security problem in Curfew, email security@curfewfamily.com. We will answer within two business days and will not take action against anyone who reports in good faith.
